Talfourds is a well-established Solicitors Practice, being a successor of the former firm of Bradbury & Sons started in the 1950's. Therefore the firm has had a substantial local connection for in excess of 50 years and continues to act for many existing Clients. In recent years the firm has expanded and now has a total legal and support staff of approximately 35. In addition, we act for a number of commercial clients who are not based and do not operate in the immediate area, and so the firm's client base now spreads far wider than the locality of Havering.

We are a commercial practice providing all the general legal services which both private and business clients require. Our clients range from individuals to major companies. In particular we are successful in attracting instructions from both existing and new entrepreneurial individuals and businesses.

Senior Partner Michael O'Connell, a Solicitor since 1981, acts in the acquisition, development and sale of large residential development sites for major national house builders. He also deals with all types of complex property transactions including those subject to planning. Senior Partner Stephen Eccles is a Partner with 17 years' experience in a wide range of commercial and private client litigation. He has taken cases to the Court of Appeal including an international claim concerning a defective factory production line, which made new Law and is reported. Stephen Green is a Partner and Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives with many years experience conducting both litigation and a variety of personal injury claims. He is also a Solicitor Advocate which allows him to appear in Courts at all levels and an Accredited Mediator. Adèle Dean is a Partner specialising in property transactions. Adèle acts for national house builders in the sale of large development sites, and when not selling sites, acts as a recommended solicitor for purchasers on new developments. Adèle has both leasehold and freehold experience.

It combines the concept of ISO 9001 and people management in a manner tailor-made for lawyers. Achieving LEXCEL status demonstrates a full commitment to business excellence and putting the client first.

We are located in purpose-built offices in the centre of Hornchurch in the London Borough of Havering. It has good road communications with the major routes of the A12, A13, A127 and M25 (junction 28) - all within a short distance.
